Queensland settles on creative preference

An Australian university is set to scrap its bachelor of arts and sciences degrees as it moves to focus on the creative industries. Queensland University of Technology has proposed closing its Humanities School and either transferring some subjects into other faculties or closing them. The university boosted enrolments when it brought media and journalism, performing arts, software design and film and television together to form a creative industries faculty.
