Nottingham Trent University - Keep your options open

九月 24, 2009

Doctoral students in the arts and humanities from all ten East Midlands universities will gather together this week for a conference that is believed to be the first of its kind. The postgraduates will meet at Nottingham Trent University to consider careers not usually associated with their studies. Workshops will be held on topics from health humanities to applied arts and music-media management. "We want PhD students to think more broadly about what they can do with their skills, particularly within the local economy," said Martyn Bennett, academic organiser of the conference, Beyond Boundaries: Facing Interdisciplinary Challenges in the Humanities.
