Educational and cultural links between Nottingham Trent University and institutions in China are to be enhanced through a new scheme that will bring Chinese language teachers to the UK. The university has struck a five-year agreement with Hanban, the executive body of the Chinese Language Council International, to bring two Mandarin teachers to Nottingham Trent each year. The scheme also includes ten one-year scholarships for students from the university's Mandarin and international business courses to study at a Chinese university, and one student from Hanban will have the opportunity to study English at Nottingham Trent.
