Nothing ventured...

六月 9, 2000

A sparkling idea and clear business plan could provide a quick cash injection for budding entrepreneurs at the Oxford-based Venturefest 2000 this summer. The best business plan entered for the McKinsey Prize will win Pounds 10,000 cash and a trophy.

Young business people aged 18-25 can attend a free business plan workshop to gain insights into how to convince investors. The best plan will win Pounds 500. Entries must be made by June 14.

The workshop is at Oxford Brookes University's Wheatley campus on June and will cover all aspects of creating a business plan, from concept to realisation. It is jointly organised by Roger Mumby-Croft of the university's enterprise centre and Russell Smith of Pharma Research Direct.
