(Photograph) - North Sea star: Newcastle University marine scientist Rachel Welch, based at the Dove marine laboratory in Cullercoats, recruited members of the public to help her study of North Sea biodiversity. It may be used as a model for the whole of the British coastline. Her findings will be presented to a public conference tomorrow entitled 'North Sea: Our Joint Responsibility'.
