Measles outbreak causes shutdowns

Universities in Tokyo have suspended their classes after a measles outbreak in the Japanese capital. Sophia University closed for a week, and Nihon University was also reported to be closed for several days.

The National Institute of Infectious Diseases said more than ten times the average number of adults were reported infected in the first months of the year, with infections focused on 20 to 24-year-olds in the capital.
