Sheffield Hallam University’s corporate communications team faced charges of cheating at its annual Christmas jamboree. The team hosted a quiz for local media contacts at which "everyone had a marvellous time". That is until the hosts won it, prompting accusations of prize-fixing. But one insider says they are not "horrid cheats" because the other Sheffield Hallam communications team in the quiz came last. And anyway, BBC Radio Sheffield, from whom they took the crown, won the year before only with the help of ringers.
