Young people are being given the chance to build robot athletes and develop parachutes that will protect eggs from breaking in a 50-foot test drop. Around 900 young people aged eight to 18 are experiencing a taste of university life at Imperial College London this summer, taking part in activities that will help them to learn scientific principles. Older students will have the opportunity to understand more about science at university level, with courses that include astrophysics, medical sciences, chemistry synthesis and mathematical game theory.
