Our guest editorfor this edition of Teaching is Sally Brown, directorof membershipservices at the new Institute for Learning and Teaching as well as a visiting professor at Robert Gordon University.

Professor Brown was formerly headof the quality enhancement unit at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle. She publishes widely and runs workshops and consultancies on teaching, learning and particularly assessment.
