The fund aims to increase the level and accelerate the rate of commercialisation of research ideas arising from the NERC/BBSRC/EPSRC/PPARC research community by providing funds to enable these ideas to be brought to a stage where commercial opportunities (e.g. licensing, seed or equity funds) can be secured.
