The Community University of North Wales, a Pounds 360,000 partnership between Bangor University, NEWI and eight further education colleges to boost access to higher education, will be launched by Bangor fellow Carol Vorderman (below) on May 25.
Designed to offer higher education courses in local communities, it will offer options in a variety of subjects including business and management, engineering, media studies, health and social care.
