Canterbury/Chester/York St John - Building on foundations of faith

Three universities with Christian foundations have signed an agreement to cultivate collaborative links. A "significant" memorandum of understanding signed by Canterbury Christ Church University, the University of Chester and York St John University will lead the institutions to share resources to offer new programmes. They will also pool expertise to widen university participation and improve employer engagement. Michael Wright, vice-chancellor of Canterbury Christ Church, said: "There are strong similarities between the universities arising from our Church of England foundations that will provide an enduring basis."
