A frying pan, a sombrero, a carrier bag and an Easter egg are among the strategically placed props in a Sheffield Hallam University nude charity calendar.
The project, which follows the tradition begun by the ladies of the Rylstone and District Women's Institute, features the gentlemen of Sheffield Hallam's facilities directorate, whose jobs range from estates and catering to IT.
Domestic assistants Linda Wilkinson, Kath Day and Josie Ledger thought up the calendar to support Dan Porter, a sports operations manager who last year successfully battled a rare form of cancer. They challenged their male colleagues to bare almost all to raise funds for Weston Park Hospital and Neurocare, where Mr Porter was treated.
And the pin-ups - including Christopher Dales from estates, who marks November as Sheffield Hallam's Rocketman - were given little chance to change their minds.
Georgina Kersey, marketing operations manager, helped supervise the shoots.
"Because everybody was working, we did it really quickly over a lunchtime, five minutes for each," she said.
Some were less apprehensive than others, she confides, although several announced that they had been visiting the gym more often to tone their physique for the public.
Not even Mr Porter was exempted from modelling duties - Jhe appears as Mr May, holding a well-placed rugby ball.
He admitted that getting his kit off was daunting. "But I thought that if other people were prepared to do it for me, I've got to show my willingness, as it were," he said.
"I'm dreading (being at work) after Christmas (after the calendars have been on sale), walking down the corridor with women going past and sniggering and pointing. But I suppose that's one of the things you have to go through."
The calendars will be available from the end of November through the university and various other outlets, including the Crucible Theatre and selected local Ann Summers' parties.
