Bristol staff take strike vote

十一月 28, 1997

STAFF at the University of Bristol are to ballot for a strike over up to eight threatened redundancies. Leaders of the local branch of Association of University Teachers agreed last week to seek members' support for a series of one-day strikes in the new year. The dispute is over threats to lose five academic and two academic-related staff in the school for policy studies and a further academic-related job in drama.
