John Wrighton
International athlete who won the 1958 European Championship in the 400m hurdles and in 1960 captained the GB athletics team at the Rome Olympics. He is a distinguished orthopaedic consultant, former High Sherriff of Dorset and a former member of the Bournemouth University board.
