三月 16, 2001

Education secretary David Blunkett launched the Warwick Institute of Governance and Public Management yesterday.

The institute is the result of a partnership between the University of Warwick and public organisations including the Health Development Agency, the Housing Corporation and the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives.

Staff at the institute will conduct research on issues of governance, public policy and public management, and teach MPAs (the university's MBA for the public sector). John Benington, professor of public policy and management at the university, has been appointed director.
