Beatlemania has returned to Bangor University 35 years after a visit from the "Fab Four".
Previously unseen film footage of the Beatles arriving in Bangor by train in 1967 was screened at the university last week to help commemorate the trip.
The Beatles travelled to Bangor Normal College, now part of the university, to spend time with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, leader of the Spiritual Regeneration Movement - now better known as Transcendental Meditation. Their visit fell under the media spotlight as news broke of the death of the band's manager, Brian Epstein.
The university invited friends of the band members and fans to the event, which included the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.
Bob Morris, the university's dean of arts, said: "As one of the most popular pop music groups ever, and a group who have left their mark on popular music culture, the Beatles have fans around the globe who are fascinated by every aspect of their history.
"Many people are aware of the events that took place in Bangor, and the university has decided that there should be something to commemorate these events."
