Aston University - £215m allows rooms to grow

五月 8, 2008

A £215 million deal to finance new student residences has been signed by Aston University. As part of a regeneration plan due to be completed by 2014, 2,400 new student rooms will be built on campus. The project is intended to replace most of the existing accommodation and leave Aston with a total of 3,000 student rooms on the campus, all with en suite bathroom facilities. The funding was secured from Bank of Scotland Corporate. "The residences project is a major platform for the university's continued growth," said Guppy Dhariwal, Aston's director of finance.
