Pascal Mugiraneza (THES, May 23) received sponsorship to complete an MA course in architecture at York in 1994/95. With financial help from the university, he went on to take a one-year certificate course in economics in 1995/96. At no time was he registered for a DPhil. His registration with the university came to an end in September 1996.
