The splendid people who brought you this year's imaginatively revisionist British Rail timetable appear to have spread their publishing interests to Cranfield University where academic staff have just received a note about the 1995/6 student handbook: "This Handbook supersedes the 1994/5 Handbook and the 1993/4 Handbook issued as Chapter 6 to the Staff Manual - Academic.
If you have a Staff Manual - Academic (issued in September 1993) please annotate Chapter 6 accordingly. Also, please note that Chapter 1 of the Staff Manual - Academic was superseded by the Quality Manual issued in September 1994. Please note the erratum slip re. the thesis handing-in date for MSc students. This should be September 3, 1996 not August 1, 1996." Suspicions about the volume's provenance can only be deepened by one of the seven names on the "copies to" list - Mr A Train.
