Nottingham Trent University's press and public relations office now has a "Web magazine" (http://www.ntu.ac.uk/ppr/prhom. html) for the press, students and anyone else interested. That should not be news but it is. In recent Internet discussions, science journalists have bewailed the online vacuum where university press offices ought to be. Virtually every institution has a Web site, but these tend to be run from the computing department or the library rather than the press office.
