Forward, march! 3

Not only do I suffer from multi-sector personality disorder, being a leader for higher education in a further education college, but I also have to bear the injustice of underrepresentation. I realise that as a female academic I am less likely to write letters to the editor, but I am doubly damned by not being from a university. Hear my plea, Times Higher Education, give HE in FE a voice. You made two very brief mentions of HE in FE last week, both of which referred to quality issues (IQER and Ofsted). Thank you for recognising that higher education extends beyond the ivory towers, but to do justice to our changing educational world there needs to be thorough and precise representation of policy changes and the impact of these on students, staff and institutions experiencing HE in FE.
