The letter about fourth-rate university administrators (April 20) was ignorant and insulting in equal measure and unworthy of a reply.
What concerns me is that it was printed anonymously. Printing the letter in this way is enabling someone to do the literary equivalent of blowing a raspberry and running behind the bike sheds.
