Connections: An Introduction to the Economics of Networks

二月 28, 2008

This is a systematic account of a very new branch of economic theory that has applications to labour markets, industrial organisation and the economics of innovation, and links with recent developments in sociology and computer science.

Who is it for? Graduate students in economics.

Presentation: Excellent. The proofs are rigorous and complete, but the mathematics should be manageable by the textbook's target audience. Helpful examples are provided.

Would you recommend it? Yes, to students who have taken a course in game theory at masters level and who are not afraid of high theory.
