Wachemo University is located near the town of Hosaina, Ethiopia. A second campus was opened at Durame in 2018.

It was founded in 2009,

It offers 21 undergraduate options, 55 master's courses and doctorates in education leadership and policy studies and soil science.

There are faculties of engineering and technology, natural and computer science, media and health, agricultural science, business and economics, education and behavioural sciences, law and social sciences and humanities.

It has an agricultural statistics training programme in conjunction with the Ministry of Statistical Services and Education.

It has also played a prominent role in the national treeplanting programme which aims to plant 600 million seedlings across Ethiopia.

Based at the Highfield Campus, the University of Southampton Auditory Implant Service (USAIS) is a regional service providing auditory implants for deaf children and adults, teaching and research. About the role: You will be working across several research projects, providing effective and efficient administrative support to the clinical trials and the wider research function within USAIS. You will assist in the co-ordination and delivery of clinical research studies and within the scope of competence undertake a range of tasks as detailed in the study protocols with support of clinical professionals. The main research direction of this group consists of unraveling the evolutionary pathways of the Solar System bodies, in particular Earth, Venus, and Mars, and determining the place of the Solar System within the larger family of exoplanets. Your working place: The Department of Astrophysics with currently around 90 members is part of the Faculty of Earth Sciences, Geography and Astronomy at the University of Vienna. We are searching for a Senior scientist to contribute to the development of numerical codes used by the Solar System Evolution group and other groups at the department. Our ideal candidate has a scientific background in the evolution of stellar and planetary atmospheres and strong background in computational astrophysics and software development. The job consists of two equally important parts: 1) to contribute to the research in the area of atmospheric evolution with the focus on atmospheric escape and 2) to take the lead in developing and supporting computational tools for atmospheric studies, such as finding the best solvers that can be used in the codes used by the Solar System Evolution and other groups at the department. The position is initially limited to 3 years with possibility to become permanent by mutual agreement. The starting date is as early as February 1st, 2026, but no later than June 1st, 2026. Your future tasks: Active participation in research, teaching & administration, which means: You build an excellent research profile in the field of planetary and stellar atmospheres, and Solar System research. You lead and participate in scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international meetings. You take the lead in the application of new computational tools, such as solvers, to the existing codes used by the group such as the hydrodynamic atmospheric codes for planetary and stellar atmospheres and particles codes. You contribute software expertise to other computational astrophysical groups. You (co-)supervise Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral students in Astronomy. You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement. You take on administrative tasks in research and teaching as well as evaluation procedures. About us The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London is one of the oldest law schools in England and recognised as one of the best law schools in the world. We are based in the East Wing of Somerset House, a Grade One listed building, on our Strand Campus.  This role is part of the Digital Education Team in the Law Professional Services. We operate a hybrid working policy and you will be expected to spend a minimum of two working days per week on campus.  About the role This role will support the School’s online programme portfolio, of which there are currently three online programmes, with two new programmes starting in 2026. Working in a fast-paced and digitally enabled academic environment, the postholder is responsible for managing complex queries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting students from pre-enrolment to graduation and beyond. A key part of the role involves working with KEATS (Moodle) to support online learning. This includes updating course pages, uploading learning materials, and supporting the design and delivery of online assessments and activities. The postholder will also lead on the onboarding of new students, working closely with central teams to ensure a smooth and engaging start to their studies, coordinating assessments and results processing, and maintaining accurate student data, and will organise and manage events such as inductions, graduation, webinars, and academic support sessions. Job Summary: The Biotechnology Engineering Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in biotechnology engineering, conducting innovative research, and contributing to the academic development of students. Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Instruction: Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biotechnology engineering, including but not limited to genetic engineering, bioinformatics, biomaterials, bioprocessing, and environmental biotechnology.
