We are seeking to appoint an outstanding scholar to contribute to the development of our Operations and Supply Chain Management group. The group has a strong focus on supply chain sustainability to support the University's strategic mission of 'engaging, empowering and making a difference'. Applicants conducting empirical research across any functional domain within the operations and supply chain field will be considered. Mōu | Who You Are Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a subject relevant to the position. Applicants should demonstrate a strong record of empirically based publications in internationally recognised high-quality academic journals, experience in the supervision of thesis students, have good teaching skills, and demonstrate an ability to secure research grants (all commensurate with experience). Applicants should have experience and/or be willing to teach introductory and advanced courses in supply chain management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Candidates with teaching and research experience in supply chain management, logistics/distribution, and procurement will be favourably considered for the position. You will be comfortable in working situations that require adaptability as we transform our teaching via judicious use of digital technology, and have an open-minded viewpoint that respects biculturalism, diversity, and inclusion. The Role The Senior Head Chef will be responsible for supervising a large kitchen team which produces three meals per day for up to 600 students and staff. The post holder will be responsible for catering for high profile clientele, private dining external functions and banqueting. The Head Chef must be able to develop existing teams to ensure that consistently exceptional standard of food and service is delivered. The post holder will also assist with day to day cleaning of kitchen and catering equipment, receipt and storage of goods, checking and signing for deliveries. Catering team members will be expected to adopt and promote a flexible approach to working, and to undertake any or all of the tasks outlined below regardless of their designated shift. The post holder will be required to work flexibly across all catering areas.
