Ref.: 534377 Work type: Full-time Department: Faculty of Law (18100) Categories: Professoriate Staff Applications are invited for appointment as Tenure-Track Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Law and Sustainable Development in the Faculty of Law (Ref.: 534377), to commence on July 1, 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and with consideration for tenure before the expiry of the second three-year fixed-term contract. Suitably qualified applicants may be considered for direct tenure. The Faculty of Law is the longest-established law school in Hong Kong. It plays a leading role in legal education in Hong Kong and Asia through its various undergraduate, research, postgraduate, and taught postgraduate programmes covering a wide range of legal subject areas. It is the largest and oldest legal research and law teaching institution in Hong Kong, currently consisting of over 80 teaching members and over 2,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Applicants should normally have a first degree in Law (e.g., LLB, BA(Jurisprudence) and JD) and an additional postgraduate degree in Law (e.g., LLM, PhD, D Phil and SJD).
