The SIT x NVIDIA AI Centre (SNAIC) is seeking a business-driven professional to lead industry partnerships and growth initiatives that expand the Centre’s commercial and strategic footprint. The role is responsible for identifying high-value collaboration opportunities, shaping business models for applied AI projects, and securing funding or co-development commitments that contribute to SNAIC’s long-term sustainability. Working at the intersection of technology and business, this role acts as SNAIC’s front-facing dealmaker, translating market demand, ecosystem signals, and AI innovation into viable partnerships across areas such as Generative AI, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, Digital Twins, and Multimodal AI. Success in this role requires strong commercial instincts, the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders, and the discipline to drive opportunities from early exploration through signed agreements and delivery. Key Responsibilities  1. Industry Engagement & Business Development Identify, qualify, and engage potential industry, government, and ecosystem partners for applied AI collaboration opportunities. Drive the deal process from initial discussion through to agreement. Manage active partnership accounts and track delivery milestones to ensure commitments, timelines, and outputs are met. 2. Marketing, Outreach & Positioning Contribute to industry events, workshops, showcases, and demos that strengthen SNAIC’s visibility and lead generation. Support development of partnership assets such as case studies, pitch decks, project proposals, and success stories. Work with internal teams to amplify SNAIC’s applied AI capabilities to targeted sectors and communities. 3. Data, Reporting & Pipeline Management Maintain an up-to-date CRM pipeline of leads, partners, proposals, and project statuses. Generate periodic dashboards and management reports on engagement performance, deal progress, and partnership outcomes. Ensure data accuracy and traceability across all stages of the partnership lifecycle. Job Requirement  Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, innovation projects, or roles involving both technical and commercial stakeholders. Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ideally in a cross-functional environment. Working understanding of AI concepts, use cases, and industry trends, with interest in areas such as Generative AI, LLMs, Computer Vision, or Digital Twins. Exposure to NVIDIA’s AI ecosystem (e.g., Omniverse, CUDA, DGX, NGC) is a plus, but not required. Strong communication and relationship management skills, able to engage industry partners and internal stakeholders confidently. Good writing and presentation abilities for proposals, pitch decks, and briefing materials. Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple partnership pipelines, timelines, and reporting needs. Comfortable using CRM tools, dashboards, or project tracking systems. Key Competencies Understanding of AI and emerging technologies. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to liaise confidently with both engineers and executives. Strong proposal writing, pitch deck creation, and presentation skills; able to tailor messaging for both technical and executive audiences. Able to interpret partner needs and convert them into feasible project scopes, requirements, or collaboration models. Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently. As a University of Applied Learning, SIT works closely with industry in our research pursuits. Our research staff will have the opportunity to be equipped with applied research skill sets that are relevant to industry demands while working on research projects in SIT.  The researcher will be part of the team of the NAMIC Project for 3DP Ship Hull Design. The Research Engineer will play a critical role in the development, validation, and optimization of 3D-printed Ship Hull and Connector System. This includes conducting finite element modeling, ship resistance and stability assessments, as well as overseeing AM process and reporting. The role also involves designing and validating connectors for the modular system to ensure mechanical integrity, printability and adaptability. Key Responsibilities Participate in and manage the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI and the research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. Undertake these responsibilities in the project: Resistance Analysis: Conduct simulations to analyze wave interactions, buoyancy, and stability of modular floating structures. Optimize designs for dynamic environmental conditions (e.g., waves, tides, currents). Finite Element and Structural Modeling: Develop and implement finite element models to evaluate structural integrity under load conditions. Perform stress, strain, and fatigue analysis for modular components and connectors. Stability Modeling: Analyze stability characteristics of 3DP ship hull under static and dynamic conditions. Collaborate with teams to develop safe and efficient hull design. Design and Development of Connectors: Design robust, durable connectors means for integrated multiple hull modular units Validate connector performance through simulations and physical testing. AM Process and Validation: Oversee the AM process and testing of 3DP ship hull and connector system. Data Collection and Analysis: Gather testing data during for design optimisation. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed technical reports on findings, including recommendations for system enhancements. Present outcomes and progress updates to stakeholders and collaborators. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including material scientists, engineers, and field technicians. Liaise with external partners and vendors for test site setup and equipment. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for marine environment. Maintain high safety standards during field operations and laboratory testing. Research Documentation and Dissemination: Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations to disseminate findings to academic and industry stakeholders. Contribute to project proposals and progress updates for funding agencies. Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations. Project Management Support: Ensure timely execution of project milestones Coordinate with external collaborators and manage data-sharing protocols. Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment The Research staff is to liaise with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met. Any other adhoc duties as assigned by Supervisor. Job Requirements Master/PhD in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Marine Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Proficiency in hydrodynamic modeling tools (e.g., ANSYS AQWA or equivalent) and finite element analysis software (e.g., Abaqus, ANSYS). Experience with stability. Experience in designing connectors or mechanical interfaces is a plus. Familiarity with 3D printing technologies and materials is advantageous. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data collection instruments and techniques. Excellent communication and report-writing abilities. Description The Perception and Active Cognition laboratory in the Center for Brain & Health, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate to work on the mechanisms underlying mental processing speed. The successful applicant will drive a fascinating project that links processing speed measures to previously acquired functional and structural MRI data. The project will also involve simultaneously acquired and co-registered fMRI and EEG measurements. Measures of cognitive “Speed of Processing” are important for studies of healthy aging and many disorders, including multiple sclerosis, autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, and schizophrenia, as well as diabetes and obesity. This project investigates the neural correlates of Speed of Processing and its subcomponents, translating into a more complete understanding of the mechanisms involved and their role in brain health. This project combines MRI and EEG/MEG studies with behavioral, genetic, and clinical measures to yield a more complete picture of how processing speed is related to health outcomes.  The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.  Applicants must have a PhD in psychology, cognitive neuroscience or a related field. Strong neuroimaging data processing skills relevant to the project are required. Applicant must have no more than five years post receipt of this degree are eligible for a postdoctoral appointment. Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) presents an opportunity to revolutionize public transportation by offering significant travel-time savings and improved connectivity, with potential socioeconomic benefits. However, noise remains a significant barrier to public acceptance. We are seeking applications for a Research Fellow, funded by the EPSRC, to join an exciting new project focused on understanding the aerodynamics and aeroacoustics of overlapping propeller systems. This project will involve high-fidelity flow and noise measurements, combined with semi-analytical predictive models, to establish new physical principles for designing high-efficiency, low-noise multi-rotor configurations. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities for conducting aeroacoustics measurements and will require mathematical understanding to interpret and explain the results. The specific focus of your project will be tailored to your interests and skills within the broader topics, and you will collaborate with other researchers addressing similar challenges.
