The University of Kent has campuses at Canterbury and Medway, as well as centres in Brussels and Paris. Established in 1960, the university started out in Canterbury and accepted its first students in 1965.

Undergraduate, postgraduate, and international courses are offered on a part-time and full-time basis. There’s a broad range of courses from anthropology to economics, film to pharmacy, journalism to art. Students can choose to customise their degree with elective modules, a year abroad, a year in industry and a whole range of extracurricular courses.

There’s lots of ways students can get involved with campus life at the University of Kent with everything from sports clubs to music events, societies and seasonal events. The main Canterbury campus is home to six colleges, the library, arts centre and students union.

A former naval base, the Medway campus is located close to Rochester and Chatham.
