We seek early-career scholars whose design research engages with emerging topics and methods within and adjacent to the field of landscape architecture, with particular focus in areas of applied ecology, such as conservation biology and restoration ecology, or in areas of advanced fabrication, landscape engineering, and critical approaches to data and representation. Appointments will be made on a two-year basis with the possibility of renewal or advancement toward tenure-track positions in the Division as and when available. Qualifications: Applicants should hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D., D.Sc., Dr.P.H. or equivalent) in Landscape Architecture or closely allied field. They shoud demonstrate an emerging record of innovative design research through their scholarship and/or creative practice as evidenced by peer review and other forms of recognition. Preference will be given to those who have experience in teaching and practicing design in a multidisciplinary context. Responsibilities: Research Professoriate staff are expected to pursue an independent research and design agenda in line with their area of specialization.
