The University of Mostar is a public university in the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The university has 10 faculties, eight institutes and one Academy of Fine Arts, and the student centre. There are 50 majors available, 46 specialisations, 70 study groups, and around 1,000 employees. Founded in 1977, the history of the university traces back to 1895, when a Franciscan theological school was established, and the university seal depicts the building of the Franciscan monastery. The university adopted the Croatian language as its official one in 1992, after the university split into two when the Bosnian professors left to form a new one with the old name - the University Džemal Bijedic of Mostar - and the original university was under the control of the Croatians. It is now the only Croatian speaking university in the country, Teaching is conducted in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies through 50 different studies and 65 study groups. Faculties include agriculture and food technology, economics, civil engineering, medicine, philosophy, and law. Institutes include economy, Croatian language, literature and history, Latinity, mechanical engineering and social research. There are more than 1,000 teachers and associates and 16,000 students, up from 6,256 in the academic year of 2006-07, making this the largest university in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The number of foreign students, the vast majority of whom are from Croatia, comprise about 17 per cent of the student population. The city of Mostar has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2005 and is the cultural capital of Herzegovina.

The University of Nicosia Medical School (UNIC Athens) invites applications from motivated academics for a Teaching and Research Faculty position in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Genetics, based in Athens, Greece. We particularly welcome applicants whose work engages contemporary developments in precision medicine, digital health, and AI-informed biomedical research and medical education. Applications are invited at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, based on the candidate's experience and academic record. Essential Qualifications Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Genetics or a closely related discipline Proven record of undergraduate and / or postgraduate teaching relevant to the subject area Research portfolio and publication record commensurate with the rank sought Excellent command of English Key Responsibilities Develop, deliver, and regularly update content relevant to their field across the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme and postgraduate programmes. The successful candidate will be expected to engage students through innovative teaching methods, fostering critical thinking, professional values and ethical practice. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including advising on research projects, theses, and career development. Conduct high-impact research in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Genetics, securing external funding to establish and sustain these programmes. Disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. Serve on Departmental and School committees and assist with strategic planning and development. Advance the School’s mission by leading community outreach initiatives, holding leadership roles in relevant professional societies, and building strategic partnerships with healthcare and regulatory organisations. About you You'll have a genuine passion for working collaboratively with students and have a strong experience in a communications, engagement or marketing role, ideally within an education setting or large organisation. Skilled at building relationships quickly, you will work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across the University and the Students’ Union to deliver shared goals. Your creativity and experience in producing innovative, audience-focused communications campaigns will help you engage students in meaningful and exciting ways. Highly organised and proactive, you are comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently, and using insight and initiative to solve problems and generate new ideas. You will also be an excellent communicator with strong digital and IT skills. Description The Deep Learning laboratory in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research assistant to work on Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL). The successful applicants will lead the labs efforts in action-less design, continual learning, planning with world models, and contrastive RL. Our laboratory has expertise in deep learning, including deep reinforcement learning, large language models, and the theory of deep learning. The candidate will develop DRL algorithms for online and off-line tasks, for robotic applications and possibly for LLM reasoning applications in the future. The work will involve designing algorithms, running experiments on the HPC, analyzing the results and improving the algorithms. It will also involve extensive literature reviews. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in computer science, have significant experience with deep learning with PyTorch, and have expertise in reinforcement learning. The applicant should have already completed several major projects in DRL. The applicant should also possess excellent mathematical and English skills.
