Fixed term, full time until the 24th of December 2026 HEO9 Classification Level + 17% superannuation About the position La Trobe University is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex digital infrastructure initiatives across Infrastructure, Cloud, Data Centre and Cyber domains. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology Mobilisation within Information Services, this role is responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, design and implementation of major infrastructure projects that support the University’s strategic objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet quality standards, and transition effectively into business‑as‑usual support. This is a pivotal role within the Technology Mobilisation function, requiring strong leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as deep technical knowledge across modern infrastructure environments. Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have: In‑depth knowledge of Networking, Cloud, Data Centre, Cyber and Backup technologies Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure projects from concept through to delivery Strong project management capability, with certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 highly regarded Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, resources and performance outcomes Experience working with senior stakeholders and providing high‑level strategic advice Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop project teams in complex environments Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills Experience developing and implementing policies, standards and procedures within a large organisation A degree with extensive relevant experience, postgraduate qualifications, or an equivalent combination of training and professional expertise Please refer to the Position Description for other duties, skills and experience required for this position. FoodPlant Pte Ltd Position: Technician If you accept this role, your work located will be at Senoko. Responsibilities: Provide support to ensure the facility functions effectively, while complying with the relevant legislation and statutory requirements. Manage equipment/ facility calibration and maintenance activities. Support in starting up utilities services timely in preparation for production operation. Ensure safety, cleanliness and order of the facility. Assist in the preparation of Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures and other relevant documents. Track records of all documentation including Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures, inventory records of consumables such as hazardous and bio-hazardous chemicals, electronic components and mechanical spare parts. Handle the procurement and logistics for apparatus and consumables. Provide support to staff in the preparation of materials and setting up equipment for production. Perform any other administrative duties and responsibilities and ad-hoc duties as directed by the head of the facility. Support R&D and commercial production for client projects.   Requirements: Minimum Polytechnic Diploma, or an equivalent qualification. Possession of a Class II boiler license is an advantage. At least 3-5 years of experience in a research or production environment within the food industry. Resourceful team player with a positive working attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Note: You will be offered a Research Engineer role with a business title of Technical Officer.

The EIC-funded project’s objective is to enhance laser technology performance through creating functionalised REDS thin-disks as new optical components for innovative-lasers applications. We’re looking for an enthusiastic postdoctoral fellow to be part of our team to advance our Rapid Pulsed Laser Deposition (RPLD) technology and ultimately develop a new class of active mirror to underpin the next generation of thin-disk lasers. What You’ll Do: innovate: develop scalable RPLD processes to fabricate REDS active mirrors collaborate: work with a dynamic team and engage in interdisciplinary research experiment: gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge physical-vapour-deposition fabrication techniques, lasers, and honing your practical skills explore: help develop a deeper understanding of how to produce a high-quality REDS crystals and scale to practical dimensions. We’re seeking a capable and resourceful postdoctoral candidate eager to dive into laboratory work to develop RPLD methods to create these novel optically active sapphire elements. Job Purpose The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses a centralized pool of academic staff under the Professional Officers scheme. Professional Officers come with specialised and deep technical skills acquired through extensive industry experience. They form the talent pool which brings a much-needed industry perspective to student learning. They facilitate applied learning and applied research in SIT, complementing the academic expertise of the faculty to bring industry practices and applications into the curriculum. Professional Officers leverage on their industry experiences to create authentic learning environments, where discovery and innovation take place. They act as coaches and mentors to students during practical learning activities such as laboratory sessions, Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Professional Officers could also lead or work with faculty on industry innovation projects to provide solutions to the industry. In addition to their role in applied learning and applied research, Professional Officers manage the centralised laboratory facilities and resources in SIT. With Technical Officers, laboratory safety professionals, and administrators in POD, they jointly develop central policies and processes for the safe and seamless operation of laboratories in SIT. Key Responsibilities Design and teach labs & practice modules. Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry. Manage labs and equipment to support academic programmes and applied research. Ensure safety in labs Job Requirements A good degree in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications like registered PE/CEng would be advantageous. Deep technical specialist with 10 or more years of working experience with mechanical systems in Building services environments or facility design consultancy would be preferred. Experience in following areas is highly desirable: Both design and management of mechanical building systems. Use of BIM software for design and engineering works and develop BIM models as well as knowledge in using CAD software such as REVIT, AutoDesk and ArchiCAD. Have working knowledge of building services systems such as Heat Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, lift, heat exchangers, micro-climate, simulations, fire-testing and acoustic experiments Have prior working experience in building and facility management Having experience with materials and materials property as well as materials testing, and fire testing is advantageous. Extensive experience and knowledge of industry practices to bring industry perspective to SIT as well as experience with Green Marking and energy management is advantageous. Keen interest in innovation projects, with demonstrated ability in developing solutions to technical problems. Strong supervisory skills and enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment. Demonstrate proficiency to keep abreast of development in the field and pursue professional certification programs. Possess industrial certifications in relevant areas will be an added advantage.
