This position provides accurate and timely advice to stakeholders on a wide range of research management matters, including grant applications, post-award processes, and research data administration. Working closely with the Research Services team, the officer assists in preparing research proposals, conducting compliance checks, managing budgets, and coordinating peer review processes. The role also involves maintaining research management systems and websites, supporting internal funding processes, and ensuring all documentation complies with relevant ANU and external policies and guidelines. Strong administrative, communication, and organisational skills are essential, along with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. This position is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of the Research Services team and contributes to the University’s broader research strategy. The Person The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree or possess an equivalent combination of experience and training in administrative support within a complex organisation, with a genuine interest in research management. They will demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders. Clear and confident communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential, along with the ability to interpret and explain policies and procedures. Scope of Position: Duke-NUS Medical School invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor in AI for Medical Education within the Office of Education. This innovative role will apply Artificial Intelligence technologies and approaches to support and enhance educational delivery, assessment, and learning experiences, while also contributing to curriculum development that prepares future physicians to practice effectively in an AI-enhanced healthcare environment. Working in close partnership with MD curriculum leadership, teams, faculty, administrators, and students, the successful applicant will co-lead and support initiatives to develop and integrate AI-powered educational tools across our MD curriculum, conduct research on AI applications in medical education, and design and deliver an AI literacy curriculum. This position represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of medical education at the intersection of technology and healthcare.
