Based in Qom, the University of Hazrate Masoumeh is named after Fatima Masoumeh, one of the most important early figures of Shi-ite Islam. It was the first university for women created in Iran after the Revolution, and the second overall.
It has faculties of humanities, management and accounting, and theology and law, with plans to expand to basic sciences and engineering.
The humanities faculty, established in 2007, started by specialising in English translation but has since expanded to offer languages, counselling and art. Management and accounting offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with options including E-business, small enterprise management, marketing, strategic management, entrepreneurship, and international business management.
Theology and law covers topics such as Quranic science and traditions, law and jurisprudence.
Undergraduates must prove fluency in Persian, but master's students have the option of submitting work in English.

The successful applicant will contribute to cutting-edge research and development in Embodied AI, with a focus on integrating AI-driven perception, reasoning, and action to enable intelligent robotic behavior across diverse real-world environments. The position involves working on embodied intelligence systems that combine vision-language-action (VLA) modeling, robotic perception and interaction, and autonomous task execution. The Senior Research Engineer will play a key role in bridging algorithmic innovation and robot deployment, leading experimental design, system integration, and evaluation on real robotic platforms. The Embodied AI and Robotics Lab (AIR) develops intelligent robotic systems capable of understanding, learning, and acting in complex, dynamic settings.
