Introduction As a University of Applied Learning, the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) collaborates actively with industry in our research work. We seek a motivated candidate who is keen on rigorous research, the practical applications of code exfiltration and reverse engineering as well as security penetration testing.  The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver on an industry innovation research project where you will be part of a research team to investigate and determine potentially critical Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) drone system vulnerabilities impacting confidentiality, integrity and availability. Key Responsibilities Participate in the research project with Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PIs and research team members to ensure all project deliverables are met. Undertake or help guide work and demonstrations in the following tasks: Code exfiltration and binary reverse engineering. Study, understand and analyse mobile platform applications. Android app reverse engineering (Drone apps) Static and Dynamic analysis(experience in tools like Frida, Burp, Wireshark) Develop AI-assisted agents for automated firmware analysis and exploration Build a controlled firmware-replica environment for evaluating protocol security Design, develop and test control augmentation techniques. Adaptation of developed techniques for more generic use. Perform project documentation and crafting of research papers. Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations. Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.  Job Requirements A good degree in Computer Science / Engineering or higher. Proficiency with code exfiltration and reverse engineering. Proficiency with penetration testing techniques and tools. Proficiency with software scripting and development work on desktop and / or mobile platforms. Key Competencies Self-directed learner who believes in continuous learning and development. Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Show strong initiative and take ownership of work. Proficient in technical writing and presentation. Able to build and maintain good working relationships with people within and external to the university.

The role involves delivering high-quality teaching across undergraduate, Masters, and Graduate Diploma programs, while maintaining and advancing scholarly, research, and/or professional capabilities. The successful candidate will actively engage with academic, industry, and professional communities to promote the program and build meaningful partnerships. Working collaboratively within a collegial teaching team, the Lecturer will keep colleagues and students informed of emerging developments in cyber security, cloud computing, cyber-physical systems, and software systems, and may also undertake course coordination responsibilities. About the Role As we kick-start the 2026 academic year in our brand new iconic, state of the art Healthcare Simulation Laboratories located in the convenient Adelaide CBD, we are looking for a Senior Technical Officer (Team Leader) to lead a team of passionate technical officers. In this role, will lead the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Skills and Simulation Laboratories, ensuring the smooth delivery of simulation-based learning across programs. You will also have the opportunity to coordinate team activities, allocate workloads, and work collaboratively with other Team Leaders and the Senior Manager – Healthcare Simulation across campuses to manage staffing, rostering, stock control and operational needs. The Senior Technical Officer (Team Leader) will also be responsible for planning and preparing laboratory environments for clinical simulation workshops in line with course requirements, working closely with academic staff, and laboratory teams. The role will provide expert technical support, including demonstrating simulation equipment, procedures, and techniques to ensure safe and effective learning experiences for students. The role also involves overseeing the quality and readiness of clinical laboratory setups, maintaining a strong student-centred focus which makes a significant contribution to the University’s strategic plan to changing 10 million lives, Every One Matters, by 2035 and aligns to Strategic Driver of Students First. During intensives, the incumbent will be expected to work a variety of shifts within a set roster, ranging from 7:30am – 3:30pm, 8:00am – 4pm and 12:30 – 8:30pm, with the occasional shift ending at 10:00pm. About You You contribute effectively within a team environment and step into a functional supervisory role when required. The role In this role, you'll organise a range of in-person, hybrid, and online events for the Accelerated Compute Infrastructure Training Hub (ACIT Hub), including workshops, training weeks, and more. You’ll be responsible for all the logistics of the events and making sure everything runs smoothly and within budget.
