We are committed to supporting talented students from around the world to study at Exeter, regardless of background and financial situation. Through this commitment to widening participation and social mobility, we aim to ensure everyone has the opportunity to access a world-class education. For 2025 entry we awarded over £5m in scholarships, with £7m available for 2026.

In addition to our scholarships, which recognise both academic and sporting excellence, we also offer bursaries as additional financial support to supplement government loans for students from low-income households or those facing challenging circumstances.

We’re here to support you

We understand that there are times at university when you may need a little extra support. That’s why we offer an extensive range of support services to all students, including academic and study skills support, disability and wellbeing services, 24/7 campus security, multifaith chaplaincy, student health centres, and more. 

We also have a dedicated international student support team available to help you settle into life and study in the UK. Their support is available before you arrive and continues throughout your degree - for example, they can help with visas, travel to Exeter, setting up a UK bank account, and more. 

Support at Exeter isn’t an add-on, it’s built in, ensuring every student has the chance to succeed and thrive.
