Job Purpose The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses a centralized pool of academic staff under the Professional Officers scheme. Professional Officers come with specialised and deep technical skills acquired through extensive industry experience. They form the talent pool which brings a much-needed industry perspective to student learning. They facilitate applied learning and applied research in SIT, complementing the academic expertise of the faculty to bring industry practices and applications into the curriculum. Professional Officers leverage on their industry experiences to create authentic learning environments, where discovery and innovation take place. They act as coaches and mentors to students during practical learning activities such as laboratory sessions, Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Professional Officers could also lead or work with faculty on industry innovation projects to provide solutions to the industry. In addition to their role in applied learning and applied research, Professional Officers manage the centralised laboratory facilities and resources in SIT. With Technical Officers, laboratory safety professionals, and administrators in POD, they jointly develop central policies and processes for the safe and seamless operation of laboratories in SIT. Key Responsibilities Design and teach labs & practice modules. Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry. Manage labs and equipment to support academic programmes and applied research. Ensure safety in labs Job Requirements A Master’s degree in Radiography or related field. Possessing a PhD will be an added advantage. Deep technical specialist with 10 or more years of working experience in the acute / community / other clinical rehabilitation setting. Possess clinical experience and competence in Radiography. Having expertise in general radiography or other area of specialization (e.g., MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Angiography and Fluoroscopy) is preferred. Knowledge and experience in working with simulated healthcare institution and community environment and educational manikins will be advantageous. Extensive experience and knowledge of industry practices to bring industry perspective to SIT.  Keen interest in innovation projects, with demonstrated ability in developing solutions to technical problems. Strong supervisory skills and enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment. Demonstrate proficiency to keep abreast of development in the field and pursue professional certification programs. Possess industrial certifications in relevant areas will be an added advantage.

This pivotal role within our Information and Digital Services portfolio is responsible for the technical and operational implementation and support of the University’s cloud and infrastructure services. As the successful candidate, you will ensure that customer needs for cloud and infrastructure systems are fully addressed and are consistent with best practice approaches. Some of the key responsibilities of the position include: Installing, maintaining, and monitoring cloud and infrastructure systems and services according to technical specifications and in accordance with agreed policies, procedures and service level agreements. Working collaboratively with the relevant stakeholders to provide support and assistance where needed and where priority requires. Supporting the relevant stakeholders in developing, implementing and managing the vision and associated roadmap for the University's infrastructure services, ensuring the vision and roadmap is aligned to the strategic objectives and relevant governance principles of IDS and Flinders. Active Directory Experience: Expertise in managing Active Directory, including Group Policy management and Distributed File Systems (DFS) is crucial. Automation Experience: Demonstrated experience in automating system administration tasks, particularly automating repetitive manual tasks using PowerShell is necessary. Server Hardware: Proficiency in managing, configuring and troubleshooting server hardware, working alongside vendors to manage hardware replacements. Cloud Administration: Experience in Azure cloud administration is desirable, with Azure cloud certification being a plus.
