You have proven expertise in developing and assuring compliant training and assessment strategies, and in supporting educators to deliver high-quality learning experiences. You are confident leading and coaching teams, building staff capability in compliance requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives such as validation and quality assurance processes. To be successful in this position, you'll have: Expert knowledge of assessment requirements of Training Package qualifications and accredited courses i.e. vocational education competency-based training, ASQA, AQF and CRICOS requirements. Experience in the development of training & assessment tools and processes applicable to a range of business programs or disciplines in a vocational educational setting. Highly developed skills in vocational assessment design and mapping assessment tools to the training package units of competency I.e. elements, performance criteria, skills, knowledge and assessment conditions and/or range statement and principles of assessment (Reliability, Fairness, Flexibility and Validity) and rules of evidence (Validity, Currency, Sufficiency and Authenticity). Experience in project management in education environments, capacity to lead through influence and proven ability to meet deadlines and project milestones. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with staff across all levels from a coaching and development perspective. Qualifications An Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 5 Diploma or above in teaching and learning which includes supervised teaching practice and studies in teaching methodology or equivalent qualification accepted by the University. Ensure alignment of course content with learning outcomes, accreditation (where applicable), and industry standards. Apply data analytics tools and techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, data visualisation, predictive modelling) within course content. Collaborate with academic staff and program directors to ensure consistency across courses within the discipline. Ensure materials are accessible and inclusive, adhering to university policies and best practice in learning design. Experience: Demonstrated experience in Business Analytics, or a closely related discipline. Demonstrated experience in higher education teaching, and/or course development. Practical industry experience applying analytics tools and techniques in a business context. Experience with relevant tools/software (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, Power BI, tableau etc). Experience in designing assessments and learning activities aligned with learning outcomes. Familiarity with online and blended learning environments (e.g., LMS platforms such as Canvas) will be an added advantage. Eligibility Requirements: Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Business Analytics or a closely related field. Professional experience in the application of business analytics. Demonstrated capability in applying analytical techniques to real-world business problems. Understanding of contemporary learning and teaching principles, including constructive alignment and student engagement strategies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Your personal sphere of influence: The Department of Fundamental Theology is part of the Institute for Systematic Theology and Ethics at the Faculty of Catholic Theology. The shared approach of Fundamental Theology in Vienna is to relate theology to contemporary societal challenges as well as to other academic disciplines, thereby contributing to the resolution of current socio-political issues. To this end, the Department is actively involved in the multidisciplinary research center Religion and Transformation (RaT). Particular focus is given to questions of theology of history and the philosophy of history. As a university assistant (Praedoc), you will join the research team of the Department of Fundamental Theology and the research center Religion and Transformation (RaT). What is particularly important to us: An international outlook, an interdisciplinary approach, and strong connections with other research institutions, particularly the Institute of Philosophy and the research center RaT; an interest in the Department’s research priorities, and a basic understanding of Catholic theology as well as German Idealism (Hegel, Hölderlin, or Schelling). Your future tasks: You will actively participate in research, teaching, and administration, which means: You will contribute to the research at the Department of Fundamental Theology.
