Hassan II University of Casablanca (UH2C) is a public university which is the result of a recent merger on 1st September 2014 of two universities: Hassan II University Ain Chock - Casablanca and the Hassan II University Mohammedia – Casablanca.

Hassan II University of Casablanca is now one of the youngest universities in Morocco, but also the largest university in terms of the number of students (108 144), academic staff (2 304) in full time and administrative staff (948) in full time.

The UH2C consists of 18 institutions (3 faculties of economics and law, 3 faculties of Humanities and Arts, 2 faculties of science, 1 faculty of science and technology, 1 faculty of medicine and pharmacy, 1 faculty of dental medicine, 2 engineering schools, 1 business school, 2 teacher training schools, 1 Higher School of technology and 1 Higher School of Applied Arts. These institutions are located in 6 campuses: Mohammedia, Ain Sebaa, Ben M'sik, Ain Chok, Route d'El Jadida and quartier des Hôpitaux.

The offer of training covers several areas within 381 programs (DUT, Engineering, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree and Medical doctorate, PHD). The scientific research is organized through different scientific structures (123 laboratories, 10 Phd Schools, 10 research topics centers, 4 Competence centers accredited by the Ministry, 2 platforms of research and 1 observatory ORDIPU Observatoire de recherche en didactique et pédagogie universitaire).
