About the role Make significant contributions to the teaching, examining and project supervision of students in the Department of Informatics. Establish and disseminate innovative teaching practices in the department. Deliver an excellent student experience through innovative teaching and assessment methods for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught programmes, in core computer science and a specialism in computer science or artificial intelligence. Enthusiastically contribute to academic management and support the administration and development of the department to further its education, research activities, and ambitions. Undertake a self-directed programme of scholarship in cybersecurity education at a level commensurate with current international standard. Act as personal tutor to students as agreed with the Head of Department, assist with difficulties, e.g. learning support/problems and be responsible for the pastoral care of students.
