Job Purpose The role holder’s contribution will be central to the delivery and support of teaching, learning, and assessment related to the modules offered in the Economics domain at the University of Southampton Delhi. The role holder is expected to teach Economics modules at both undergraduate (B.Sc.) and postgraduate (M.Sc.) levels, and to engage in other academic activities necessary for the successful delivery of the allocated modules.  Candidates should be able to teach Economics modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels across the breadth of the discipline. A strong quantitative background is essential for this position. The role holder will undertake leadership, management and engagement activities, including significant administrative responsibilities in support of department operations, and will demonstrate collegiality by ensuring ‘Southampton Behaviours’ are embedded within their ways or working. We are seeking a computational glycobiologist to join a multidisciplinary project developing next-generation enzymatic tools for antibody glycoengineering. The role will focus on applying state-of-the-art structural modelling and computational protein design approaches to understand and engineer enzymes that modify IgG Fc N-linked glycans. The successful candidate will use tools such as AlphaFold, molecular modelling platforms, and glycan conformational analysis frameworks (e.g. GlycoShape) to investigate the structural dynamics of IgG glycans and their interactions with glycosyltransferases. Working closely with structural biologists and glycobiologists, they will analyse enzyme-substrate interfaces, model Fc-glycan accessibility, and support the design of engineered enzymes with enhanced activity toward IgG substrates. Computational insights will guide the design of chimeric glycosyltransferases that incorporate Fc-binding domains to achieve proximity-driven enhancement of glycan processing. This role is ideally suited to a researcher with experience in computational structural biology, glycobiology, or protein modelling, who is interested in applying AI-enabled structural prediction and glycan modelling tools to real-world challenges in antibody engineering. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of new technologies for precise control of antibody glycosylation, with applications in therapeutic antibody manufacturing and immune effector modulation. Description The laboratory of Dr. Djellel Difallah in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks a Post-Doctoral Associate or a Research Associate to join a lab focused on applied machine learning. The successful applicant will participate in research involving human computation, knowledge discovery, machine learning, and data science. The position will provide the opportunity to develop applied research skills in machine learning, interact with an international network of collaborators, and gain post-doctoral research experience. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and can work independently, has a passion for AI and its applications, and is willing to learn new technologies. The candidate should have a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
