Description The Center for Interacting Urban Networks, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to support a set of projects on air pollution and environmental policy in the UAE and globally. These projects include measuring perceptions of and assessing knowledge about air quality, identifying and pursuing strategies to engage with policy makers on environmental issues, and extending efforts in data collection on and public engagement with air quality readings. The successful applicant will contribute to interdisciplinary research centered on these topics. The qualified candidate will have a Masters in the social sciences and experience working on quantitative analysis. This position requires excellent computational and data management skills. Description The Kamei Reverse Bioengineering Laboratory within the Divisions of Science and Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate position that advances the frontiers of developmental biology and disease modeling. The laboratory integrates stem-cell biology, fluorescence imaging, bioinformatics, and advanced nano- and micro-engineering to decode organogenesis and early embryogenesis, translating these insights into regenerative medicine, drug discovery, and precision therapeutics.
