The successful candidate will have an interest in online safety, including areas such as social media, technology-facilitated abuse, and AI safety, and experience working with minoritised groups (e.g., women, gender-diverse people, people with disabilities, culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and young people). The role requires the ability to translate research into actionable design outcomes. Experience with co-design and participatory methods is desirable. The Lecturer will contribute to teaching and research within their field, delivering across undergraduate and postgraduate programs while maintaining an active research profile. They will also build partnerships with academic, industry, and professional communities, and work collaboratively with colleagues. Course coordination may be required. About You To be successful for this position, you will have: Demonstrated research track record in a human computer interaction topic related to responsible computing, broadly defined. Preference will be given to applicants with an interest in online safety. Track record should include research outputs in high quality venues. Experience in participatory HCI methods, and translating findings into design recommendations Experience in supervising higher degree by research candidates to maximise research performance. Autophagy protects cells from various harmful substances through their degradation within lysosomes. It was founded in 2005 to deepen the collaboration between the two universities in the field of molecular biosciences.
