Tajik National University is the oldest and largest higher education institution in Tajikistan. It was established in March 1947 as Tajik State University to train skilled professionals during the Soviet era. Since the country’s independence in 1991, it has played a central role in shaping Tajikistan’s academic and research landscape.

It is located in Dushanbe, Tajikistan’s capital and cultural hub.

Academically, the university is comprised of 19 faculties, including law, international relations, journalism, philology, physics, chemistry, biology and medicine, alongside programmes in economics, philosophy and oriental studies. It offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels, with a growing emphasis on scientific research and academic collaboration.

About Us The Estates and Facilities Directorate at the University of East London (UEL) plays a critical role in supporting the university’s strategic objectives by delivering a range of essential services. We are seeking to recruit a Postdoctoral Researcher as part of a project entitled “PROMISE: Improving Mental Health Supports for People with Multiple Sclerosis in Ireland”. This project, a partnership between academics, clinicians and knowledge users, with significant integrated public and patient involvement (PPI), aims to identify the characteristics of effective mental health supports for people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS) and the strategies that can be implemented to improve the delivery of mental health services and supports for PwMS in Ireland. The PROMISE project is led by Principal Investigator (PI) Dr Rebecca Maguire in the Department of Psychology and the Assisting Living and Learning Institute, Maynooth University. This project is funded by the Health Research Board with co-funding from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Ireland. The appointed researcher will be responsible for conducting many of the research and dissemination activities in the project under the supervision of the PI, with input from a wider project management group and a PPI steering committee. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Psychology, Social Science, Health or a related discipline, with experience in a range of different methodological approaches, including quantitative and qualitative research methods. Experience embedding public and patient involvement (PPI) in research, familiarity with multiple sclerosis or related conditions, and/or experience with mental health research and service provision in Ireland would be an advantage. Excellent organisational, academic writing and presentation skills are essential, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet project milestones. The researcher will be based in the Assisting Living and Learning Institute and the Department of Psychology at Maynooth University where they will join a supportive community of interdisciplinary researchers. About us The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London is one of the oldest law schools in England and recognised as one of the best law schools in the world. We operate a hybrid working policy and you will be expected to spend a minimum of two working days per week on campus.  About the role This role will support the School’s online programme portfolio, of which there are currently three online programmes, with two new programmes starting in 2026. Working in a fast-paced and digitally enabled academic environment, the postholder is responsible for managing complex queries, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting students from pre-enrolment to graduation and beyond. A key part of the role involves working with KEATS (Moodle) to support online learning. This includes updating course pages, uploading learning materials, and supporting the design and delivery of online assessments and activities. The postholder will also lead on the onboarding of new students, working closely with central teams to ensure a smooth and engaging start to their studies, coordinating assessments and results processing, and maintaining accurate student data, and will organise and manage events such as inductions, graduation, webinars, and academic support sessions.
