Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree preferably in a Social Sciences, Business Management or related disciplines. They should have at least a combination of 5 years of professional, teaching and/or research experience, in Corporate Sustainability, Value Chain Management, Sustainability-related Disclosure or Circular Economy. Preference will be given to those who are accredited professionals with Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting related accreditations. These may include, but not limited to, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Professional Certification, Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR) Certificate, European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS). Experience in teaching programme development and management will be an advantage. The appointee will contribute to the overall teaching and action research effectiveness in a wide spectrum of sustainability-related activities at the Centre, and be responsible for curriculum planning and development, validation and accreditation of new and/or existing programmes, and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He/She will also support the work of the Academy for Sustainable Communities established under the Centre and perform other teaching and research-related duties as assigned by the Director. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At the current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
