SR University is a part of the Sri Rajeshwara Educational Society, a 45-year-old conglomerate of educational institutions that governs 95 educational institutions across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The university’s campus is located in Ananthasagar, a reservoir shore area of India’s Telangana region positioned alongside the Shanigaram Cheruvu reservoir and waterfall.
The university offers a wide range of degree programmes across its six schools that include: computer science and artificial intelligence, engineering, business, sciences, agriculture, and design.
SR University offers a choice of majors and minors and allows students to combine those from completely different fields.
In addition to its schools, SR University has 11 centres that foster innovation, research and entrepreneurship amongst its students and staff. The SRIX Technology Business Incubator, for example, helps entrepreneurial students grow their ideas into successful startups. The incubator also offers internship opportunities and industry connections to place its students at a higher standing when they begin their careers.
During their free time students are encouraged to participate in sports, such as Kho Kho, cricket, basketball and football.
