About the Role The School of Education and English (EDEN) is looking for ambitious, talented, and experienced academics with a passion for teaching and a developed research agenda to join its team of scholars in the field of comparative and international education. Candidates with research strength on digital learning technologies in higher education are particularly welcomed. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to supervision, teaching, and curriculum development for the MA International Higher Education postgraduate taught programs, as well as teaching modules in the Doctor of Education (EdD) programme and providing supervision for EdD and PhD students. Moreover, successful candidates will play a lead role in collaborative research projects and conduct ongoing original research and publications in the relevant areas of comparative and international education. About You Candidates must have a PhD degree in education or related field, experience teaching PGT (MA and EdD) modules in topics related to international higher Education, and experience supervising PhD, EdD, and Master students. Knowledge of international education and educational leadership, and experience teaching undergraduate students are highly desirable. Salary will be within the range of RMB 635,038 to RMB 780,622 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience (salary progression beyond this is subject to performance) and you will have a range of benefits and entitlements, including accommodation allowance, insurances, schooling support, home flight, relocation & repatriation support, and paid annual leave. About You You are an experienced clinician and educator with a passion for delivering high-quality, student-centred learning. Current registration with AHPRA and advanced life support accreditation, supported by substantial acute care experience. Proven excellence in tertiary-level teaching, including simulation-based education and innovative learning strategies. Strong curriculum development skills and understanding of accreditation requirements, with a student-focused approach. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and industry. About the Senior Lecturer in Acute Care Skills and Simulation Role (Level C) As a Senior Lecturer in Acute Care Skills and Simulation, you will provide academic leadership in teaching and curriculum development within the College of Medicine and Public Health. This role focuses on delivering innovative, student-centred education in clinical skills and simulation, while driving quality improvement and compliance across programs. You will lead course coordination, mentor staff and students, and contribute significantly to educational leadership and service at College and University levels. Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of clinical skills and simulation teaching, including acute care and life support training. Coordinate topics and courses, ensuring curriculum innovation and alignment with accreditation standards. Provide educational leadership through mentoring, dissemination of best practice, and integration of advanced teaching technologies. Contribute to governance and service through leadership on committees, accreditation activities, and partnerships that enhance student success and employability. About You You are an accomplished clinician and educator with a proven record of leadership in teaching and curriculum development. An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our Built Environment Project team at the University and oversee the delivery of a variety of construction and refurbishment projects across our diverse estate. This is a high-profile position leading, directing and managing the capital project management team charged with the intelligent client-side management of the University’s (academic and residential) built environment. This includes programmes of construction, remodelling, refurbishment, and development of the university space to described standards and specification. The role will also oversee built environment capital finance and project Health and Safety. Role & Responsibilities: The post holder will be a key member of the Leadership and Management Teams within Estates and Facilities Management leading and contributing to the overall strategic, planning, and operational position required to ensure that the team delivers a professional built environment project management service to provide the physical environment and services for the benefit of the University community and is commensurate with the University’s corporate objectives and its mission. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Strategically plan, organise, and manage the built environment capital works programme and its related resources and services to ensure project delivery meets good practice, in line with the requirements of the University and in accordance with University Estates Strategy. Key will be the development of standardised specifications and project process. Delivery of highly customer focussed Estate’s project management and custodial services throughout the University, ensuring a high-quality level of client support. Encouraging customer ownership of projects through the provision of quality information and use of open systems. Ensure the team procure and efficiently manage all projects and services related to the development and implementation of projects on the University estate, at all times seeking best value and a high degree of interface with internal engineering expertise in the Maintenance Services, Planning, Systems, Utility & Sustainability and Space Planning teams. Responsible for ensuring that all building work undertaken by the University is fully compliant with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards. This includes, but is not limited to, adherence to building codes, health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices. The role requires continuous monitoring and updating of compliance protocols to reflect any changes in legislation or standards, ensuring that all projects meet the highest levels of legal and regulatory compliance.
