Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines, with proven research experience in experimental and clinical studies. Those with an outstanding track record of high-quality publications in basic research, clinical and translational research are preferred. He or she should be meticulous, self-motivated, and be able to work in collaboration across teams. Proficiency with excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required. The appointees are expected to be involved in research projects pertaining to various disciplines of Chinese Medicine for the treatment of cancers, metabolic disorders, aging-related diseases, mental disorders and autoimmune diseases as well as quality control of Chinese herbal medicine. He/she will perform related research analysis, conduct clinical study, write reports and papers, assist in supervising postgraduate students and carry out other duties as assigned. Job Purpose The Professional Officers Division (POD) houses a centralized pool of academic staff under the Professional Officers scheme. Professional Officers come with specialised and deep technical skills acquired through extensive industry experience. They form the talent pool which brings a much-needed industry perspective to student learning. They facilitate applied learning and applied research in SIT, complementing the academic expertise of the faculty to bring industry practices and applications into the curriculum. Professional Officers leverage on their industry experiences to create authentic learning environments, where discovery and innovation take place. They act as coaches and mentors to students during practical learning activities such as laboratory sessions, Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Professional Officers could also lead or work with faculty on industry innovation projects to provide solutions to the industry. In addition to their role in applied learning and applied research, Professional Officers manage the centralised laboratory facilities and resources in SIT. With Technical Officers, laboratory safety professionals, and administrators in POD, they jointly develop central policies and processes for the safe and seamless operation of laboratories in SIT. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous. Deep technical specialist with 10 or more years of working experience in relevant setting such as hospitals, occupational therapy clinics, community-based setting, long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. Have deep, hands-on competence in the areas of psychosocial domain of health involving in occupational therapy or psychology Knowledge and experience in working with people with a range of conditions, including those who have physical disabilities, mental or social problems. Possess practice knowledge on administration and application of various occupational therapy assessment tools. Extensive experience and knowledge of industry practices to bring industry perspective to SIT. Keen interest in innovation projects, with demonstrated ability in developing solutions to technical problems. Strong supervisory skills and enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment. Demonstrate proficiency to keep abreast of development in the field and pursue professional certification programs. Possess industrial certifications in relevant areas will be an added advantage.

The SIT x NVIDIA AI Centre (SNAIC) is seeking a business-driven professional to lead industry partnerships and growth initiatives that expand the Centre’s commercial and strategic footprint. The role is responsible for identifying high-value collaboration opportunities, shaping business models for applied AI projects, and securing funding or co-development commitments that contribute to SNAIC’s long-term sustainability. Working at the intersection of technology and business, this role acts as SNAIC’s front-facing dealmaker, translating market demand, ecosystem signals, and AI innovation into viable partnerships across areas such as Generative AI, Large Language Models, Computer Vision, Digital Twins, and Multimodal AI.
