Your Key Responsibilities as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Level A): Deliver innovative treatments for eating disorders as part of a clinical trial team, including novel personalised psychotherapy packages for eating disorders, a new brain training and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) package and clinician-guided digital therapies. Deliver high-quality psychological therapy to trial participants under trial conditions, according to protocol and therapy manual, ensuring adherence to ethical and clinical research standards while maintaining participant safety, engagement, and treatment integrity.Conduct high-quality research contributing to the co-design, development and testing of a new personalised measurement-based Single Session Intervention for young people with emerging or full-syndrome eating disorders. Analyse quantitative and qualitative data, prepare ethics and governance documentation, and contribute to publications, reports, conference presentations and other research outputs that advance discipline knowledge. Conduct research and scholarly activities, independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the advancement of knowledge within the discipline. Develop and refine research capabilities under the guidance of senior academic staff, progressively taking ownership of project milestones, timelines and research activities and building toward increasing independence. Support and mentor students and junior team members where appropriate, while fostering a collaborative, inclusive and respectful team culture aligned to the values of the InsideOut Institute and University of Sydney. About you as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Level A): Completed PhD in Psychology, Public Health or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated understanding of eating disorders, mental health research or digital health interventions. Qualified clinical psychologist or psychologist (AHPRA-registered), preferably with experience in the treatment of eating disorders.
