The Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Helsinki is seeking a Research Infrastructure Manager for diverse tasks related to the coordination and development of technical support for research infrastructure. We offer a responsible and interesting job in a diverse working environment on the Viikki green campus. The Research Infrastructure Manager's responsibilities include developing the faculty's infrastructure based on the faculty's strategy. They will be responsible for the efficient use and maintenance of equipment, sampling, and analyses related to the faculty's research infrastructure, as well as quality assurance and development of these functions. The manager will act as an expert in the procurement of various research equipment for the faculty and will oversee the procurement process for more expensive specialized equipment. The role also includes supervisory responsibilities. Additionally, the Research Infrastructure Manager will coordinate and develop the cost-effective use of the faculty's facilities. They will work closely with the vice-dean responsible for the faculty's infrastructure platforms.
